necton: Empowerment

In this episode, Johanna and Jesse talk to Franzi Finkenstein about different forms of empowerment.

Franzi Finkenstein (she/her or they/them) is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in which she focuses on modern German literature and visual art. In it, feminist studies and queer theory inform her examination of performances of work, gender, and genre. Franzi teaches German and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and occasionally works as a freelance writer. Alongside Thao Ho, she is the editor of weak zine, an online zine on iridescent thoughts, sounds, and other artworks.
