Hopscotch Listening Hour | Dr. Fatemeh Shams & Erin Honeycutt

Hopscotch Listening Hour is a project of Hopscotch Reading Room which involves bookselling, hosting events, and printing projects that make underrepresented literature available.

Hopscotch Listening Hour will present conversations centering non-western and diasporic perspectives. In the first episode, Hopscotch's Erin Honeycutt will be speaking with the Iranian poet and scholar Dr. Fatemeh Shams, whose poetry gained popularity following the Green uprising in June 2009, the censoring of literature in Iran, and the clandestine publishing practices that followed the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
