Convos With Kemoy | Elio

In this episode, Kemoy talks to Elio, an Afroscandinavian kink and kinbaku (Japanese rope bondage) practitioner and educator residing in Berlin for 4 years. He's been organizing separatist kink and rope events for black queer people for the last few years and founded "Black Queer Rope Berlin" last summer after experiencing a lack of black and queer bodies represented in and given access to kink spaces. Elio advocates for kink as healing practices and the importance of making them accessible and destigmatised for marginalised people in particular.
