Airtime: Manila Community Radio | Soft as Silk

Soft as Silk’s offering is their first attempt at a party mix, combining the sounds of Baltimore and Jersey club, bass, breaks and different brands of house and techno in one. Taking cues from the eclectic DJing styles of old masters from Chicago and Detroit, contemporary legends like Ben UFO and Objekt, and of course Manila scene idols (their father included), they celebrate the past and future of club music through a dynamic multi-genre set. Backspins are done, tracks are cut and long blends are run throughout the course of nearly an hour. In other words, this session is just Soft as Silk having a little bit of fun.
