In the fourth episode of Vibe Check Sarah Farina is bringing her unreleased track Back It Up, which will come out 18th of August on Paloma, the record label of Paloma Bar. Sarah and Ace of Demons discuss the politics of sampling and how to integrate activism into your daily life. They think about how to build a more equitable world in a capitalist system and talk about the recent fundraiser Sarah did in collaboration with Refugees 4 Refugees, which also calls out the brutal, dehumanising deportation politics of Germany. She explains to us how going to the birth places of club music and the club in general inspires her music, how as a DJ she designs joy and how the DJ duo sick girls mentored her way into the music scene.
