Yağmur Uçkunkaya, also known under the moniker rayne, is a DJ, producer, and transdisciplinary artist from Turkey. She is embedded in the electronic music scenes both in Berlin and internationally, with residencies at Istanbul's Root Radio, Berlin/Belgrade's D59B, and Berlin's Cashmere Radio. As a producer and DJ, her mixes and releases blend acoustic and electronic elements, as well as analog and digital sounds, often incorporating hints of Anatolian influences. Her recent projects focus on integrating arts and technology, aiming to create immersive experiences through generated multimedia content while exploring power dynamics and emotional manipulation inherent in technological tools. She collaborates with local DJs, visual artists, and drag performers, pushing the boundaries of genre and art forms to create transformative and dynamic artistic expressions.
